The Battle Creek Bombers have announced the complete schedule for the upcoming 2011 regular season, the teams 5^th season in Battle Creek.  Click here for printable schedule

The team kicks off the season at home on Wednesday June 1^st against the Waterloo Bucks.  The schedule is highlighted by 21games on the Bombers most popular nights, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (Only 16 in 2010).  All games will again start at 7:05pm except Sunday games that will now begin at 5:05pm.

“I am thrilled about the way our schedule is laid out for 2011”, said Bombers GM Brian Colopy.  “We couldn’t ask for a better schedule for our fans.  This schedule allows us to give our fans more of the fun promotions and nights they have grown to love.”

For the second consecutive year the Northwoods League will use a balanced, 70-game divisional schedule. All teams will play the other seven teams from their division a total of ten times—five times in each half.

The regular season begins on Wednesday, July 1^st and concludes on Sunday, August 14^th. The first half of the season will be complete at the end of play on Wednesday, July 6^th with the second half beginning the following day. The first and second half division winners from both the North and South will meet in a best-of-three Divisional Playoff Series on August 15-17. The North and South Division Champions will then meet in a best-of-three series for the Summer Collegiate World Series on August 18-20.

The 17th Annual Northwoods League All-Star Game will be at Witter Field in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin on Monday, July 18th with festivities beginning on Sunday the 17th.
