Steam Secures Skilled Catcher From Butler Community College
Catcher and Infielder Teagan Graul Joins the Steam
LA CROSSE, WI – The La Crosse Steam continues to build a strong roster, as today they announced the signing of catcher and infielder Teagan Graul.
The 5’3” freshman has had a great start to her first college season, with 16 at-bats in 11 games played. Graul has 7 hits with 3 doubles and a home run. While in high school Graul earned honors such as 1st Team All-District, 2023 Defensive Player of the Year, and NETX FCA All-Star.
Teagan Graul and the rest of the Steam will open their 2024 campaign at Copeland Park & Events Center on June 15th when they take on Madison Softball.

Leveraging the 30-year success of the Northwoods League, the first for-profit Summer Collegiate Baseball League, Northwoods League Softball (NWLS) will be the first for-profit Women’s Summer Collegiate Softball League beginning play in the Upper Midwest in the summer of 2024. The purpose of the League will be to develop players for their college, Olympic and future professional play. Teams will be promoted similar to minor league baseball teams, playing games in front of fans in a fun, friendly, family-oriented environment.
