Steam Brings on Skilled Outfielder from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse
Outfielder, Aliyah Langrehr Joins the Steam

LA CROSSE, WI – Game one for the La Crosse Steam is only a few weeks away! The Steam continues to add to their roster today as they announced the signing of outfielder Aliyah Langrehr.

The 5’7” sophomore for UW-La Crosse has had a very successful year. Defensively Langrehr has a fielding percentage of .959 and 47 put outs. While in high school Langrehr earned honors such as Scenic Bluffs Pitcher of the Year as a senior, Offensive MVP freshman season, and Defensive MVP as a junior and senior.

Aliyah Langrehr and the rest of the Steam will open their 2024 campaign at Copeland Park & Events Center on June 15th when they take on the Madison Night Mares.

Leveraging the 30-year success of the Northwoods League, the first for-profit Summer Collegiate Baseball League, Northwoods League Softball (NWLS) will be the first for-profit Women’s Summer Collegiate Softball League beginning play in the Upper Midwest in the summer of 2024. The purpose of the League will be to develop players for their college, Olympic and future professional play. Teams will be promoted similar to minor league baseball teams, playing games in front of fans in a fun, friendly, family-oriented environment.
