Sophomore Brings More Experience to Copeland Park
LA CROSSSE, WIS. – The first pitch of the 2026 Northwoods League Softball season is 82 days away and with that, the La Crosse Steam have another player to announce. Sophomore outfielder Kaylee Kinsinger heads to LaCrosse after playing the 2025 season with the Ignite in Wausau.
A native of Valley Center, Kansas, Kinsinger will journey to America’s Dairyland for the second consecutive summer. In 2025, Kinsinger played with the Wausau Ignite in a summer that saw her appear in 30 games, over the course of which she drew 11 base on balls.
A member of the Conquistadors of Dodge City Community College, Kinsinger has gotten off to a hot start, batting .375 with 5 runs batted over her first 16 at bats. Kinsinger looks to continue this early momentum, and parlay it into a successful summer at Copeland Park.
