Below is a list of common questions, policies, and procedures for our La Crosse Loggers, La Crosse Steam, and Copeland Park & Events Center group outings. If you have additional questions, please contact our group sales representatives at 608-796-9553 or groups@lacrosseloggers.com
BOOKING PROCESS
If you are interested in booking a group outing with the La Crosse Loggers, La Crosse Steam, or Copeland Park & Events Center, email groups@lacrosseloggers or call 608-796-9553. Our staff would be happy to help you plan your next outing!
A minimum number of 20 people are required to book most areas at Copeland Park.
A minimum number of 100 people are required to exclusively book a deck or terrace for a Loggers game or the picnic tent for a Loggers or Steam game. If a group is less than 100, they may share the deck, terrace, or picnic tent with another group.
Other group ticket experiences may include additional minimum requirements for discounts such as our tiered ticket discounts in the grandstand.
If a minimum requirement is not reached, we will charge additional tickets to reach the minimum or reverse discounts depending on the space and minimum requirement.
For large groups, we can reserve one or more areas based on the group size. Our group sales representatives will work with a group leader to reserve appropriate spaces depending on estimated group size.
Yes, your game/event ticket is included with all group areas in the ballpark.
Loggers & Steam: Yes, for youth 12 and under the price would be $15 for all group areas. Throughout the ballpark, children 3 and under are free.
Copeland Events: There may be some discounts for kids depending on the event. Your group sales representative will be able to provide event specific information.
To book an outing for a Loggers or Steam game, a 25% deposit is required within two weeks of booking. Then, 7-10 days prior to your event, final numbers and a final payment are due. The final invoice for outings in a private cabin, party deck, open air suite, field club, and pre-game picnic will include a 5% gratuity. Once final payment is received, all tickets would then be issued to your group.
For other events at Copeland Park, your group sales representative will inform you of any required deposit payment or payment in full at time of booking. If applicable, the group sales representative will also provide dates for final numbers and final payments.
We have a variety of distribution options for tickets including emailing, will call, or dropping off tickets (limited to availability and distance). Our ticketing system also allows us to set up a link for your attendees to RSVP and/or pay for their tickets, making it easier on the group leader. Our group sales representatives will work with the group leader to choose the best ticket distribution option for your group.
GAMEDAY INFORMATION
All group areas for Loggers and Steam games will open one hour prior to first pitch. If you would like to decorate or set up, please coordinate with your group sales representative about early entry for a few people.
If your group is attending an event at Copeland Park that is not a Loggers or Steam game, work with your group sales representative to review the times for your outing.
Most groups will enter through the front gates unless otherwise indicated by your group sales representative. Private cabin attendees will enter through the private cabin entrance off of Copeland Ave.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Food and beverage will be available starting when gates open. There are special circumstances where gates will be opened earlier than food & beverage beginning, and a group sales representative will communicate this to a group leader when appropriate.
For private cabins at Loggers games, food service will close in the 7th inning. If a game delay occurs, food service may close 3 hours after gates opened. Our group hospitality attendees will inform group leaders in advance of when it will close to provide a “last call”.
For party decks and open air suites at Loggers games, food service will close at the end of the 7th inning. If a game delay occurs, food service may close 3 hours after gates opened.
For pre-game picnics, food service will close at the end of the 3rd inning. For Steam doubleheaders, our group sales representatives will work with the group leader to set a 2 hour time frame for food to be served. If a game delay occurs, food service may close 2-3 hours after gates opened.
For the field club at Steam games, food service will close at the end of the 5th inning on single gamedays and the end of the 3rd inning of the second game for doubleheaders. If a game delay occurs, food service may close 2 hours after gates opened.
For Loggers games, alcohol will be sold/served until the end of the 8th inning. Fridges in the private cabins will be closed during the 8th. For Steam games, alcohol will be sold/served until the end of the 6th inning on single gamedays and the end of the 5th inning of the second game for doubleheaders. For Loggers and Steam, alcohol sales/service may be closed early if there were game delays. In these cases, staff will inform patrons of any early closures.
For attendees where tickets include 3 beers for adults 21+, you will be asked to show your ID to receive a wristband for your area which includes the 3 drink tabs. These tabs may only be used on beer/seltzer cans (some exclusions may apply). If an attendee under 21 has an “adult” ticket that would include the drink tabs, we are unable to give the drink tabs to another attendee 21+. Similarly, if you have any unused tickets for your group, we are unable to provide drink tabs/wristbands for those tickets. Tabs do not rollover to your next visit at Copeland Park.
No, outside food and drink are not allowed inside the ballpark. If you would like to bring in a cake/cupcakes for your group as part of your outing, please check with your group sales representative beforehand.
If you would like a setting where every member of the group has an assigned seat for the entire Loggers or Steam game, a grandstand outing or pre-game picnic is recommended. Our cabins, decks, suites, and field club are seen as a social atmosphere, with some bar stools and tables/chairs, but may not have enough for every member of your group.
Yes, you are allowed to bring in balloons or other decorations. Should you choose to do so, we do not allow banners or signage to hang inside or out of the group area where they can be seen by other game attendees. Any decorations should not cover sponsor signage. Please coordinate ahead of time with your group sales representative about decorations and acceptable placement of any banners or signage.
You are welcome to bring swag items or giveaways for your attendees as long as they are items not already sold in our Pro Shop. Please coordinate with your group sales representative to ensure your swag items or giveaways follow guidelines.
Our Loggers & Steam Pro Shop provides a variety of options for door prizes and giveaways for your group. When purchasing for your group, discounts may apply. Our group sales representatives can assist in purchasing items from the Pro Shop.

OTHER POLICIES
All sales are final at the time of purchase and full payment. No refunds will be offered, including for unused tickets.
If for any reason you must cancel an event with the Loggers or Steam, the Loggers or Steam must be notified at least 30 days before the scheduled game date in order to receive a full refund of your deposit. A cancellation within 30 days of the scheduled game will result in a loss of your deposit.
Due to the ordering of food and/or reservation of a seat, we are unable to refund any unused tickets once a group’s final numbers are submitted. When your group has submitted your final numbers, we can almost always add additional tickets; however, we are unable to reverse any after that point.
No refunds are allowed.
