Madison Softball Name the Team Round 1 Voting is Now Open
Madison Softball is asking its fanbase for help in selecting the team’s official name

Fans are able to vote on team names in head-to-head matchups with each round lasting one week. Fans can access the poll to cast their vote via the Madison Softball website, email newsletter, and social media channels. The first round of votes will close on Tuesday, March 5th at 5 p.m. The team will hold three rounds of voting and will choose the team name from a fan-voted final four.

Madison Softball’s “Name the Team” voting contest opened at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 28th and quickly gained over 1,000 votes in the first six hours. One fan will be chosen randomly to win a ticket package once the vote total surpasses 2,000 responses. The team previously asked fans to submit name ideas and are now asking its supporters to pick from the top sixteen submissions.

The winning team name will be announced at a free fan event in April. Details for this unveil event will be announced at a later date.

The Madison Softball team will host the La Crosse Steam for its home opener on Sunday, June 16th at 6:05pm. The complete 2024 schedule can be found here. Group outings, season ticket packages, and eight ticket flex plans are now available by calling the Madison Softball office at 608-246-4277. Fans can reserve their season tickets now for only $50.
