Wausau, WI – The Wisconsin Woodchucks and Wisconsin Chevrolet Dealers are proud to offer youth baseball clinics throughout the Wausau area.

The Wisconsin Woodchucks and your Wisconsin Chevy Dealers are teaming up to offer four Chevy Youth Baseball Instructional Clinics throughout the Central Wisconsin area. The four camp locations include Rhinelander, Plover, Antigo, and Wausau. Space is limited to 200 players per session. Sign up early to reserve your spot!

Registration is required for each participant which can be found at http://rsvp.youthsportswired.com/baseball/WAU. Once on the page, select which camp your child would like to attend and the website will ask you for a password. This password is playball. Each child participating is required to RSVP and bring a signed clinic waiver form (available online) to the registration table on the day of the clinic. Registration for each clinic runs from 8:00AM-8:45AM. The clinic runs 9:00AM-12:30AM.

Participants of all skill levels between the ages of 6-14 are invited to attend. Participants are asked to wear athletic apparel and bring their own glove, water bottle, and bat if available. Non-metal cleats or tennis shoes are acceptable to wear.

Family members are strongly encouraged to attend the entire clinic. We also recommend that you bring a cooler with refreshments as concessions may not be available.

The Wisconsin Woodchucks are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwood’s League. Playing its 21st season of summer collegiate baseball, the Northwood’s League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 115 Northwood’s League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (DET) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Allen Craig (STL) and Ben Zobrist (TB).
