Devin Skapura's eight innings lead the way

 

Madison, WIS – The Wisconsin Woodchucks (15-23, 2-1 Second Half) topped the Madison Mallards (24-15, 1-2 Second Half), 7-2, at Warner Park in Madison, Wisconsin.

Stevie Mangrum (Virginia Tech) had two hits, including a two-RBI double to put the 'Chucks up 2-0 in the first inning. He drove in three total runs. 

Connor Heady (Kentucky) scored on Mangrum's double and later drove in a run with a double of his own in the second, one of two RBIs for him on the night.

George Janca (Texas A&M) also drove in two runs.

Devin Skapura (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi) hurled eight terrific innings, allowing only one earned run (two total) on three hits while striking out six.
