Skapura, Walker stand out in defeat

 

Wausau, WIS – The Wisconsin Woodchucks (18-26, 5-4 Second Half) dropped the first of a two-game set to the Green Bay Bullfrogs (20-25, 5-4 Second Half), 4-1, at Athletic Park in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Steele Walker (Oklahoma) drove in the Woodchucks' only run with a single in the third, which extended his hitting streak to 14 games. He collected two hits total.

Devin Skapura (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi) threw six innings and surrendered only two earned runs, but took the hard-luck loss.
