Mangrum slugs grand slam

 

Wausau, WI – The Wisconsin Woodchucks (26-32, 13-10 Second Half) topped the Green Bay Bullfrogs (27-32, 12-11 Second Half), 9-8, Monday at Athletic Park in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Stevie Mangrum (Virginia Tech) launched a grand slam in the fifth inning, one of his two hits and two runs scored on the day, to power the 'Chucks to victory.

Javier Martinez (College of DuPage) drove in the winning run when he was hit by a pitch, driving in Steve Passatempo (UMass Lowell).

Gordon Cardenas (Auburn) got the win in relief.
