Two Former Woodchucks in MLB Postseason Play

The 2016 Major League Baseball postseason begins on Tuesday, October 4 with two former Wisconsin Woodchucks players on a Divisional Series Playoff Roster. 

Chicago Cubs clinched the National League Division with the best record in the league.  Cubs second baseman, Ben Zobrist (Wisconsin ’03) makes his sixth postseason appearance.  He batted .266 this season with 15 home runs and 72 RBIs.

Toronto Blue Jays are playing for a Wild Card spot in the American League Division, this weekend.  Blue Jays center fielder, Kevin Pillar (Wisconsin ’10) makes his second postseason appearance.  He batted .265 this season with 7 home runs and 50 RBIs.
