Wausau, WIS – The Wisconsin Woodchucks have signed Peter Ahn from Michigan State University and Derek Schwimer and Mason Doolittle from Palm Beach State College to the 2018 roster.

 

INF – Peter Ahn | 6’2” | L/R | Freshman | Michigan State University

Ahn, an infielder from Delafield, WI will add to the ‘Chucks batting lineup. Ahn finished his high school baseball career at Marquette University High School with first-team All State honors, an appearance in the summer baseball state championship game. During the summer season he hit .457 with 11 doubles, eight triples and five home runs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

OF – Derek Schwimer | 5’11” | L/R | Sophomore | Palm Beach State College

Schwimer, an outfielder out of Port St. Lucie, FL will make his debut with the Woodchucks after hitting .340 with 17 RBI and 13 stolen bases for Palm Beach State. As a freshman, he had a .346 batting average with a .435 on-base percentage, 25 RBI, and five stolen bases.

 

 

 

 

 

C – Mason Doolitte | 6’4” | R/R | Freshman | Palm Beach State College

Doolittle will join Schwimer. The freshman hit five home runs, 11 doubles with 28 RBI and a .352 batting average this spring. The power-hitting catcher was selected as First Team All-Area as a senior in high school. He is originally from Jupiter, FL.
