Woodchucks Fall To the Bombers 3-0
The Woodchucks wrapped up their road trip tonight with a 3-0 loss to the Battle Creek Bombers. Even though the Woodchucks put 8 hits on the board, they stranded too many runners and were shutout in Battle Creek for the second night in a row.
Starter Jake Gross kept the team in the game by only allowing one run in five innings on the mound.
Derek Schwimmer tried his best to help the ‘Chucks out offensively, going 2-4 at the plate with a single in the 5th and another in the 7th.
