You’ve seen the pictures, now get up to speed on everything going on with Phase IV of the Athletic Park Renovation. Phase IV started in late August of 2020 with the goal of updating the first base side of Athletic Park.

The recognizable blue and red bleachers may be gone now, but in their place stands a state-of-the-art structure which will house 2 new concession stands on the ground level, plus a new top-notch visiting team dugout which will also partially serve as a visiting clubhouse. The upper level, which lines up with the rest of the stadium will feature bar rail style stadium seats throughout. The stepped design of this area will allow great sight lines for all fans. This new area will be available for single game tickets, ticket packages and group outings.

Luckily the mild winter we’ve been having here in Central Wisconsin has allowed for smooth moving during the construction and we’re anticipating the project will be finished in mid-March. Recently Kowalski Masonry has been onsite finishing off the new pillars with the recycled granite stones and the roof is being painted in Woodchucks green to match the rest of the stadium.

Soon essential plumbing and electrical work will be completed to start installing the concession equipment.

We hope you’ll all join us for a game this summer so you can check out the new first base side of Athletic Park yourself! Go Woodchucks!
