Wausau, WI- The Wausau Woodchucks announce the return of Jake Herman to be the voice of the Wausau Woodchucks for the 2022 season. Jake was the radio announcer for the Woodchucks in 2021 and will be the home color commentator and away radio voice for the coming season.

Jake is currently in his senior year at the University of Texas-Austin where he majors in Journalism. A Potomac, MD native, Jake is excited to be back the Woodchucks for the 2022 season. Jake has experience broadcasting through IHSFan, Texas Club Ice Hockey, and Flo Sports as well as his 2021 season with the Woodchucks.

When asked about the upcoming season Jake said, “I’m extremely excited and honored to be returning to the Woodchucks this summer! Last year I learned so much and met an amazing and supportive group of people.
