J.D. Davis

Davis, who played collegiately at Cal State Fullerton, played for the Wisconsin Woodchucks in 2012. He was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 3rd round of the 2014 MLB Draft.

Davis has had an impressive career, earning several awards and accolades. He was an MILB All-Star in 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2018. In 2017, he played 24 games with the Astros and had 14 hits, including four doubles and four home runs. The following year, he played 42 games with the Astros, recording 18 hits and one home run. In 2019, Davis joined the New York Mets and played in 140 games, hitting 22 home runs and recording a batting average of .307. In 2020, he played 56 games with the Mets and had six home runs.

Davis had a strong 2021 season with the Mets, playing in 73 games and recording 51 hits, including 12 doubles and five home runs. He had a batting average of .285 and an OPS of .820. In January 2023, Davis agreed to a one-year, $4.21 million contract with the Giants, avoiding salary arbitration. In his first three games with the Giants, Davis has one hit in six at-bats.
