Three Woodchucks Appear in Tuesday’s All-Star Game

All three Wisconsin Woodchucks players selected for the 2021 Northwoods League All-Star Game appeared in Tuesday’s Night’s matchup at ISG Field in Mankato, Minn.

Kevin Kilpatrick had a ninth inning single for the Great Lakes Division in its 7-3 loss to the Great Plains All-Stars. Kilpatrick scored later in the frame on an RBI from Fond du Lac’s Chandler Simpson.

Tyler Kehoe started Tuesday’s matchup at centerfield. He got two at bats at the eighth spot in the lineup.

Nate Madej pitched the second inning for the Great Lakes and recorded a strikeout.

Kilpatrick Represents Woodchucks in Home Run Challenge 

Monday night’s Northwoods League Home Run Challenge saw Kilpatrick represent the Woodchucks on the Great Lakes side. He hit nine homers in the home run derby-style event.
