The Woodchucks are pleased to announce that Kaia is the February  Kid of the Month. The Kid of the Month program is a partnership with Aspirus Health and Aspirus Health Plan to recognize outstanding area youth in a fun way.

Kaia was chosen as Kid of the Month for February because of her hard work in school. She made the honor roll with high honors last month and is already thinking about what classes to take to prepare herself for college even though she’s only in middle school! Kaia joined student council, forensics and band this year and was cast in the school’s spring musical. Way to go Kaia!

Kaia, and all subsequent youth recognized as Kids of the Month, will be recognized at a Woodchucks game during the 2024 season and will have a chance at being the Kid of the Year, who will receive a $1000 scholarship for their future educational endeavors.

Nominate an amazing youth you know to be recognized as Kid of the Month! Nominations received by 3/22/2024 will be eligible to be named the March Kid of the Month!

Opening Day for the Wausau Woodchucks 2024 season is Memorial Day, Monday, May 27 at Athletic Park in Wausau. The first 500 fans 18 and older will receive a hat, sponsored by Wisconsin Lottery. Half and full season tickets, along with ticket packages, group tickets and hospitality areas are on sale now. Single game tickets will go on sale later this spring.
