Alexa Staskiewicz Named 2025 Aspirus Kid of the Year

Wausau, WI- In partnership with Aspirus Health, the Wausau Woodchucks are happy to announce that the 2025 Aspirus Kid of the Year is Alexa Staskiewicz.

Alexa was chosen as Kid of the Year for her hard work in all areas of her life. She is a very dedicated student, maintaining a high GPA in the classroom. Outside of the classroom, Alexa thrives on the soccer field, working to play at the highest level to become a professional soccer keeper one day. Alexa is a friend to all, especially her younger brother Hunter, who has Down Syndrome. She works to help take care of him when possible and advocate for him daily.

Alexa will receive a $1,000 scholarship to aid in her future endeavors. The Woodchucks will open nominations for Kid of the Month for the 2026 season starting later this fall.
