Wausau, WIS – The Wisconsin Woodchucks of the Northwoods League are pleased to announce the addition of Sean Kellerman as the team’s new radio voice for the 2014 season. He will take over for Jim Sannes, who was the voice of the Woodchucks the last three summers.

Kellerman will call all 72 Woodchucks games on WRIG (1390 AM), with all game simulcast on 93.9 FM and Sunday games tricast on 550 AM. In addition, Kellerman will write for Chucks Chatter, the team’s game program insert, and assist with audio, video and graphic projects. “I can’t fully express how grateful I am to become a part of the Woodchucks’ organization,” Kellerman said. “Baseball and broadcasting have been two of my biggest passions in life, and I am truly looking forward to making 2014 the best season yet for Woodchucks supporters.”

Kellerman will bring significant experience behind a microphone to the broadcast booth this summer. Last fall, Kellerman served as the Public Address Announcer for University of Kansas soccer and volleyball teams, the latter of which competed in historic Allen Fieldhouse for two NCAA Tournament matches and advanced to its first Regional Semifinal in program history. He will hold the same title for the KU softball team this spring.

In terms of play-by-play experience, Kellerman served as the lead broadcaster for various KU baseball, football, and basketball games during his time at the award-winning student-run radio station, 90.7 KJHK FM. This included serving as a pre-game and postgame host, play-by-play broadcaster and color analyst for the KU men's basketball NCAA Tournament games during the 2012 and 2013 seasons.

During his three years with KJHK, Kellerman also served as a producer, co-host and host for weekly sports talk shows. He also worked with the student television station KUJHTV as a field reporter, producer, and anchor.

Most recently, Kellerman is working as a board operator and producer for Sports Radio 810 WHB in Overland Park, Ks., and as a Sales Assistant for Jayhawk IMG Sports Marketing in Lawrence, Ks.
