Athletic Park, home of the Wausau Woodchucks, is in a residential setting just north of downtown Wausau. Since 2014, Athletic Park has undergone many renovations, including the most recently completed, Phase IV, which added new concession stands and seating along the first baseline just before the 2021 season. The entire park is surrounded by a stone-wall structure and is considered to be a historical landmark. Athletic Park was built in 1936 with the stone-wall exterior being constructed just a few years later.

Athletic Park features four premium reserved seating areas for group outings. For more information about the Group Outing Areas, visit our Group Outings Page.

Athletic Park is highly unique to the Central Wausau area and the teams who have played here have provided great family fun and entertainment for many decades!
