A trio of right handed pitchers will rejoin the Huskies for the 2016 season. Toby Anderson (Minnesota), Mitch Bauer (Minnesota State) and Jon Ludwig (Minnesota State) will all spend another summer on the mound for the Duluth Huskies.

RHP Toby Anderson, a Nampa, Idaho native, is currently competing in his junior season with the Golden Gophers. In 9 appearances (5 starts), Anderson has struck out 24 over 36.2 innings of work. He also boasts a 4-0 record with a 4.66 ERA. Toby also had a successful 2015 campaign with the Duluth Huskies. Anderson ended the summer with a 4-3 record while striking out 26 in 54 innings.

RHP Mitch Bauer, a Maple Grove, Minnesota native, is currently competing in his junior season with the Mavericks. Bauer has appeared 7 times (6 starts) for Minnesota State – Mankato so far this season and holds a 3-2 record. He has also struck out 21 batters in 30 innings pitched while maintaining a 3.00 ERA. During the 2015 Huskies season, Bauer made 14 appearances (7 starts) and won 5 games while striking out 27. He also maintained a 3.86 ERA over 58.1 innings of work.

RHP Jon Ludwig, a Plymouth, MN native, is also currently playing for the Mavericks alongside Bauer. So far this season, Ludwig was made 6 appearances (3 starts). He has also struck out 19 over just 22.1 innings. Ludwig was brought on mid-season by the Huskies in 2015 where he made 2 appearances (both starts). He notched one with while also striking out three over 10 innings.

The Huskies open the 2016 season on the road and return to Wade Stadium on Saturday, June 4th for their home opener against the Mankato MoonDogs.
