Grafton, WI – The Lakeshore Chinooks have announced their 2016 Promotional Schedule. The front office has been hard at work this off-season planning the organization's best promotional schedule yet. Lakeshore has a number of new and exciting promotions for this summer along with some returning favorites from past seasons.

Opening Night

The Chinooks will begin their 2016 campaign on Saturday, June 4th. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Hank Aaron Bobblehead  (presented by Robert Haack Diamonds). Hank Aaron is the fourth bobblehead in our popular outfield wall series. All fans in attendance will also receive a 2016 schedule magnet (presented by Professional Supply).

 

Bobbleheads 

We will once again be featuring 6 bobblehead giveaways this summer. In addition to the Hank Aaron Bobblehead on June 4th, the Chinooks will be doing a 3 piece bobblehead fishing series featuring Bob Uecker Fishing on June 18th (first 1000 fans, presented by Usinger's Famous Sausage), Gill Fishing on June 26th (first 1000 fans, presented by Port Washington State Bank), and Robin Yount Fishing on July 31st (first 1000 fans, presented by UWM Panther Arena). The Chinooks will be doing their first ever alumni bobblehead featuring Ryan Krill on July 10th (first 1000 fans, presented by Gordon Food Service). Krill played for the Chinooks from 2012-2014. The final bobblehead of the 2016 season will be your next Commander-In-Chief, Presidental Gill on August 6th (first 1000 fans, presented by Techteriors).

          

 

Giveaways

There will be no shortage of giveaways at Kapco Park this summer! June will feature four giveaway dates: Mystery Envelope Night (first 500 fans, presented by Pet Supplies Plus), Mystery Bobblehead Night (first 500 fans, presented by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum), a Chinooks Travel Mug (first 1000 fans, presented by Gentian Financial), and a pint glass featuring our 5th Season logo (first 1000 fans ages 21+, presented by Juice's Ghost Town).

July will also feature four giveaway dates: a Chinooks camo logo t-shirt (first 750 fans ages 13+, presented by Mequon Pizza Company), a Chinooks wine glass (first 750 fans ages 21+, presented by Cedar Valley Cheese Store), our annual logo baseball giveaway (first 1000 fans, presented by Kohler Credit Union), a Chinooks pilsner glass (first 1000 fans 21 +, presented by Leinenkugels), and Chinooks sunglasses giveaway (first 1000 fans, presented by Village Pointe Commons).

To finish out the season, August will include three giveaway dates: the annual team poster (first 1000 fans), our yearly trading card set of the 2016 Chinooks team (first 1000 fans), and a Chinooks water bottle giveaway (first 1000 fans, presented by Children's Hospital of Wisconsin).

 

Theme Nights & Appearances

This summer, we are bringing back some of "Nook Nation's" favorite theme nights and guest appearances as well as a few new and exciting theme nights. Returning for 2016 in the month of June: our 2nd Annual Education Day on June 7th, Gill's 5th Mascot Birthday Party featuring Gill's annual pre-game kickball game followed by autographs with the mascots on June 11th (presented by Cedar Crest Ice Cream), our 3rd Annual Kids & Seniors Day on June 20th, Baseball's Allure for Women where the first 500 ladies (ages 13+) will receive a gift bag on June 25th (presented by Allure Salon & Spa), and also returning on June 27th and 28th will be our American Hero Nights where all Military personnel and first responders can receive half price tickets. Returning to Kapco Park will be an appearance by the ZOOperstars on June 26th.

New theme nights & appearances for the month of June include: Reading Challenge Night on June 10th (presented by Stein's Garden and Home) where all students enrolled in Gill's Reading Challenge will be honored prior to the game, Teacher Appreciation Nights on June 16th and 17th where teachers and staff members can purchase a special ticket package. Also on June 17th will be our Finding Dory Night (presented by Marcus Theatres). On June 18th, the Chinooks are going to go back in time for Turn Back the Clock Night featuring a pre-game Base Ball vintage game. Also new in 2016 is our Soccer Night (presented by Stefans Soccer).

Returning theme nights and appearances for July include: Military & Veteran's Appreciation Night on July 1st (presented by Mequon Pizza Company), Team Autograph Night on July 13th (presented by Kohler Credit Union), Bark in the Park Day on July 17th (presented by Fromm Family Foods), and Fireworks Night and Princess Night on July 30th (presented by Erik of Norway. Princess Night will once again feature a pre-game tea party with the princesses. Back for the fifth time is our popular Star Wars Night on July 23rd (presented by Thrivent Financial: Jim Meyer). Star Wars Night will be extra special this year as the Chinooks will be hosting their first ever jersey auction. The Chinooks will wear Star Wars X-Wing Pilot themed jerseys and be auctioned off with the proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity. Kris Crow and Joe Hite will be back for Dueling Piano Nights again this summer on July 6th and August 3rd.

New theme nights and appearances for the month of July include: Salute to Cheese and Wine Night on July 7th (presented by Cedar Valley Cheese Store), Ghostbusters Night on July 16th featuring an appearance by the Wisconsin Ghostbusters and their Ecto-1 car (presented by Marcus Theatres), and Celebration of Generations Night on July 24th (presented by Village Point Commons).

Pro Wrestling Night will return once again on August 2nd featuring an appearance and autograph session by WWE Hall of Famer, the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase. As many of you know Gill is running for President and the Fish Party has chosen Kapco Park as the site of this year's Fish Party Convention on August 6th. Finishing up the season will be Fan Appreciation Night on August 10th and Chinooks Win, You Win on August 13th. If the Chinooks win on the 13th all fans in attendance will receive a 2017 ticket voucher. August 13th will also be Bucks Night at Kapco Park with appearances by Bango and the Milwaukee Bucks entertainment team.

Finally, our annual Scout Nights will return this summer on June 23rd, July 17th, and July 23rd (presented by Dick's Sporting Goods).

Weekly Promotions and Weekly Concession Promotions will be announced later this week. Single game tickets go on sale to the public on May 3rd at 10:00am. Season ticket packages and mini game packages are currently on sale now. Fans can guarantee themselves all 6 bobbleheads with the 6 Game Bobblehead Package or 12 Game Plus Package which includes all 6 bobbleheads and our top promotion dates.
