The Bombers dropped their second in a row Thursday night in Wisconsin Rapids 4-2.

Battle Creek was held scoreless until the fifth when Dan Dispensa knocked an RBI double into the outfield, bringing around Ryne Otis from third. The Bomb Squad tried to mount a comeback in the ninth when Danny Rockett scored on a groundout, but they stranded two runners on base when the Rafters recorded the final out.

Nolan Sanburn struggled for the first time this season, allowing three runs through 4.1 innings, while John Morrison and Alex Tukey finished the effort in efficient relief.

The Rafters now follow the Bombers home for a pair of games at C.O. Brown Stadium to wrap up the season series before the All-Streak Break, which will be in Wisconsin Rapids Sunday-Tuesday.
