The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters added a pair of University of New Mexico teammates this past week for the 2011 season. The Rafters are adding 33rd round pick DJ Peterson, who is a right handed 3rd basemen and elected to attend New Mexico instead of signing with the Seattle Mariners. Wisconsin Rapids will also be adding left handed pitcher Gabe Aguilar to their pitching staff.

Peterson is a Gilbert, AZ native finished his 2010 high school season as 1st Team All-State and 1st Team All-Region.

Aguilar appeared in 11 games for the Lobos and posted a 1.98 ERA during the 2010 season.
