Dick Radatz, Jr. – Chairman

Dick Radatz, Jr. is a co-founder of the Northwoods League and has an educational background and work experience in sports administration. Upon completion of a Master’s degree in Sports Administration, from Ohio University, Dick worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Los Angeles Dodgers at their Spring Training site in Vero Beach, FL. He then spent a year as General Manager of the Boston Red Sox entry in the New York-Penn League, setting a single-season attendance record, before serving six years managing the business operations of the Boston Red Sox Spring Training site in Winter Haven, FL, and as General Manager of the Red Sox wholly-owned subsidiary in the Florida State League, where he set another single-season attendance record. He was named Florida State League Executive of the Year in 1986. Following his pro baseball tenure, Dick was Assistant Director of Operations for Michigan Special Olympics. Dick is a graduate of Albion College (MI) with a B.A. in Economics and Management. He was also Captain of the baseball team at Albion and a four-year letter winner.

Ryan Voz – President/Commissioner

Ryan Voz was named the 4th President/Commissioner of the Northwoods League in September 2020.  Voz started as an intern with the St. Cloud River Bats in 1998, was General Manager of the Alexandria Beetles from 2001-06 and was Northwoods League Executive of the Year in 2002.  He, along with Marc Jerzak, have owned and operated the Willmar Stingers since 2010, winning the League’s Organization of the Year award in 2010.  Ryan served on the Northwoods League Board of Directors from 2018-2020 as the League Affiliate Representative.  Ryan will continue to operate the Stingers, along with Jerzak, on a day-to-day basis.  Ryan is originally from Cold Spring, MN. He graduated from St. Cloud State with a degree in Mass Communications and he and his wife Melissa have two children, Noah and Eva.

Matt Bomberg – President, Great Lakes Division

Matt Bomberg joined the Northwoods League front office after spending the 2010 and 2011 seasons as General Manager of the Green Bay Bullfrogs of the Northwoods League. Prior to his time in Green Bay he spent eight seasons working for two teams in the Goldklang Group. As the Senior Director of Ticket Sales with the Fort Myers Miracle, the single A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, he led the team’s ticket sales initiatives focusing on groups, mini plans and season tickets. Matt also was instrumental in the operations of Minnesota Twins Spring Training during his time in Florida. Prior to Fort Myers, he was involved with the Saint Paul Saints for six seasons. Matt began as an intern with the Saints and ended as the Director of Ticket Sales. During his time in St. Paul he led a group sales department that posted record ticket and picnic sales each season. Before working with the Saints, Matt spent five years working for Dorna USA, a rotational signage company, where he was involved with the Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Wild. Previous to Dorna, Matt also worked three years for Inside Edge, a baseball scouting company based in Bloomington, MN.

Glen Showalter – President, Great Plains Division

Glen Showalter joined the Northwoods League after 17 years in manufacturing operations at Hearth & Home Technologies, a division of HNI Corporation. Glen held different positions within the organization and worked his last 12 years as a Senior Product Line Manager at their manufacturing facility in Lake City, Minnesota. He was responsible for all aspects of the business, encompassing a wide range of product lines, accounting for tens of millions of dollars in annual sales and supporting sales in excess of 100 million dollars. During his time there, he helped to successfully launch numerous award winning products and helped to transform the organizational effectiveness to world class levels through the use of LEAN manufacturing principles, systems, and tools. Prior to his time in Lake City, he spent five years at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis as a Research Technician in the Mechanical Engineering department where the emphasis was on heat transfer technologies. Glen honorably served in the U.S. military for five years previous to this and he currently resides in Rochester, MN.

Tina Coil – Deputy Commissioner

Tina joined the Northwoods League with 17 years of baseball experience, serving 16 years with Minor League Baseball and one year as a consultant. Prior to going out on her own as a consultant, Coil was the Vice President of Business Development at Minor League Baseball. As a member of the senior management team, she was responsible for ensuring all departments worked together effectively to support and advance company initiatives, maximize revenues, and provide outstanding service to constituents. When she was named to that position in 2011, she became the first female Vice President in the history of Minor League Baseball. Tina spent her first ten years with Minor League Baseball in its Licensing Department, working with member teams to manage branding and logo development, in addition to promoting the sale of licensed merchandise. After starting as an intern, she held the positions of Assistant Director and Associate Director before being named Director of Licensing in 2008. Tina’s first experience working for organized baseball was as a volunteer for the St. Cloud River Bats during their inaugural season in the Northwoods League. Tina graduated from St. Cloud State University with a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Ohio University with a Master of Sports Administration and Facility Management degree.

Greg Goodwin – Chief Information Officer

Greg joined the Northwoods League in 2016 after serving as a consultant on various technology projects since 2010. Before joining the league full time, Greg was Solution Architect and Delivery Lead at Accenture for 4 years, concentrating on application and solution development for large global clients in health care, retail and life sciences. Prior to Accenture, Greg worked for several startups and small businesses for 4 years including Director of Development Services for WebiMax and Chief Technology Officer for NeuraMetrics. Previous to this, Greg spent 17 years with Citi as Group Development Manager, building global Human Resources solutions including applications that supported compensation, learning management, talent management, performance management, and staffing. Greg earned a BS in Neurobiology and MS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Florida. When not coding and building solutions, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife Mary Helen and daughters Jenna Karli and Kelsey in sunny and warm St. Johns, Florida.

Dominic Etue – Director of Business Development

Dominic joins the Northwoods League after four years working for Thomson Reuters in their accounting software division. Throughout his time there, he sold over 1.5 million dollars in new business and overachieved his annual quota in all four years. Prior to Thomson Reuters, Dominic spent three years as an intern within the Northwoods League during his time in college. His first year with the Battle Creek Bombers and his final two with the Kalamazoo Growlers helping with promotions, ticket sales, statistics and writing nightly game summaries for the league. A graduate of Michigan State University’s Eli Broad Business School, Dominic earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing. In his free time, he is an avid fisherman and enjoys following all different types of sports.
