Carlos Escobar (Nevada-Reno) is having a great start for the Woodchucks at the plate in 2011, but had a bit extra Saturday night.  The catcher had three extra base hits in a 6-4 victory over rival La Crosse.  Escobar was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and one run scored in the win.  Teammate Austin Coleman (CS-San Marcos) also had three hits in the Woodchuck’s victory.  

Mitchell Garver (New Mexico) of the St. Cloud River Bats also had a great night with the bat.  The catcher was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate in a St. Cloud loss.
