Jumpy Garcia (Texas A&M Corpus-Christi) paced the Madison offense Sunday afternoon with three hits.  The right-handed hitting catcher was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBIs.  Garcia has started out hot at the plate this summer for the Mallards.  In his 2nd year with the Mallards, Garcia is hitting .500 in 18 at-bats with two homers and seven RBIs.  

Also in NWL action, Blake Shepherd (Viterbo) used his pinch hit appearance in the 9th inning to his advantage.  The left-fielder for the Loggers hit a grand slam off reliever A.J. Carman (Salt Lake CC).
