Dan Russell (Western Illinois) had a fantastic pitching performance on Wednesday night at Wade Stadium in Duluth. Russell, a 5’9” right-handed pitcher, threw 7.0 innings of scoreless baseball while only allowing six hits. He also struck out six Huskies on the night. Russell is now 2-2 in 22.1 innings pitching this summer for the Stingers.
