The conversation has been going on for nearly two years, but little progress has been made by the Green Bay Bullfrogs to build a new stadium to replace Joannes Stadium.

Joannes has been the home of the Bullfrogs for just five years,  since their inaugural season in 2007. But the stadium has been in existence for over 80 years, dating back to 1929. The Bullfrogs organization has renovated Joannes in a number of ways, including building a press box and two fan decks as well as a variety of other additions to make the facility more fan and kid friendly.

Still, the Bullfrogs believe a move near Lambeau Field or to the west bank of the Fox River is important to the long-term success of the franchise.

WBAY-TV reported Wednesday on the status of the Bullfrogs push for a stadium.
