MADISON, Wis. (June 7, 2012) –Madison Mallards starting pitcher Trevor Foss (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi) earned the honor of Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night for Thursday, June 7.

Foss threw seven shutout innings for the Mallards. While being backed up by great defense, the Janesville, Wis. native also struck out nine Green Bay batters and walked just one. The win improves Foss to a 1-0 record and he has now struck out 19 in 15 innings of work in 2012 for Madison.   

The Mallards host the Bullfrogs on Friday for the series finale with the first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
