ROCHESTER, Minn. (June 18, 2012) – Mankato MoonDogs third baseman Trey Nielsen (Utah) was named the Northwoods League Player of the Night for Monday, June 18. 

Nielsen finished the night 3-for-5 with four RBI and one run scored. He put the MoonDogs up 4-3 in the top of the fifth inning when he hit a two-run double to center field. Nielson also hit a two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning. 

The MoonDogs would end up winning the game, 11-6. Mankato will host the Duluth Huskies on Tuesday for a 7:05 p.m. start.
