BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (June 20, 2012) – La Crosse Loggers starting pitcher Jake Stassi (Long Beach State) earned the honor of Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night for Wednesday, June 20. 

Stassi threw six shutout innings for the Loggers and allowed just three hits. He also struck out four batters. Stassi earned his first win of the season and improved his Earned Run Average to 1.62. 

The Loggers won, 8-3. The Loggers will travel to Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. to face the Rafters for a 7:05 p.m. start on Thursday.
