ROCHESTER, Minn. (July 19, 2012) – Mankato MoonDogs third base Chase Simpson (Oklahoma) earned Northwoods League Player of the Night for Thursday, July 19.
Simpson was 2-for-4 with four RBI and three runs scored. He also drew a walk. He picked up his first home run of the season and boosted his batting average to .323.
The MoonDogs won the game 14-2. The MoonDogs will be hosted by the Duluth Huskies on Friday for a 7:05 p.m. start.
