WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (August 2, 2012) – Battle Creek Bombers relief pitcher Alex Tukey (Minnesota) earned the honor of Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night for Thursday, August 2. 

Tukey threw 2.2 innings in late-inning relief for the Bombers and allowed no runs on no hits and struck out six. Tukey would keep the Rafters off the scoreboard to earn his third win of the season. He improves his ERA to 2.15. 

The Bombers won the game 6-5. Wisconsin Rapids will host the Bombers on Friday for a 7:05 p.m. start.
