MANKATO, Minn. (August 14, 2012) – Willmar Stinger starting pitcher Kody Gorden (Nevada) earned the honor of Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night for Tuesday, August 14. 

Gorden dominated the MoonDogs’ lineup for eight innings, allowing no runs on six hits and striking out eight batters. Gorden also earned the win, which is his first in the 2012 season. 

The Stingers won the game over the MoonDogs, 4-0. The third and final game of the series is on Wednesday in Mankato with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
