LA CROSSE, Wis. (August 17, 2012) – La Crosse Loggers starting pitcher Jesse Holiday (Southern) earned the honor of Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night for Friday, August 17. 

Holiday threw five innings and allowed no earned runs on three hits while striking out five batters. He would earn the win in a performance that helped his team become the 2012 Northwoods League Champions. 

The Loggers won game two of the Summer Collegiate World Series, 8-1, to be crowned 2012 Northwoods League Champions.
