Willmar took care of the Thunder Bay Border Cats with a onslaught of offensive production, but a certain Stinger bat was the shining star in their 19-6 victory.
1st Baseman Lucas Tancas had a special performance in only his second game of the season. Tancas, a freshman from Irvine Valley, went 3-for-6 supplying a two-run single in the 4th inning, followed by a grand slam in the 7th, brining his RBI total to six on the night.
The Stingers will face off against the Border Cats again Friday at Bill Taunton Stadium at 7:05 PM.
