Wisconsin Rapids earned the series split between the La Crosse Loggers Friday night 14-7, and a certain Rafter batter proved to be the difference maker. Center Fielder Jake Sandlin went 3-for-6, with a two-run home run, scored twice, and collected four RBIs. Sandlin, a junior who attends Georgia College, has been impressive in his first four games in the Northwoods League as he is currently sporting a .429 batting average with 1 home run and 6 RBIs.
Sandlin and the Rafters will look to stay in the win column as they travel to Madison to take on the undefeated Mallards. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 PM.
