The Wisconsin Woodchucks picked up their first win of the season as the offense carried them to a 14-4 victory against thier South Division opponent La Crosse Loggers. Chucks 3rd Baseman Ramsey Romano led the charge, slugging a grand slam home run in the 3rd inning and finished 2-for-3 on the night with 4 RBIs. Romano, a freshman from the University of Michigan, raised his batting average to .375 through three games in the league. He also serves as a quarterback for the football team under new head coach Jim Harbaugh.
The Woodchucks host the Loggers again tomorrow at Athletic Park, first pitch is scheduled for 5:05 PM.
