The Mallards earned the series split as they defeated Wisconsin Rapids 3-0, led by a sensational start given by Dalton D'Spain, as Madison remains a game out of first place in the South Division.
D'Spain completely dominated the Rafters lineup, hurling six scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and struck out a season-high nine batters. The senior right-hander from Texas A&M Corpus Christi continues to be a reliable arm out of the Mallards rotation, owning a 3-1 record, 2.73 ERA and striking out 30 batters through 26 1/3 innings.
Madison continues their road trip as they begin a critical series in Kenosha, with first place of the South Division on the line. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
