The Kalamazoo Growlers received a solid game from starting pitcher Eamon Hordwedel (University of Michigan) in their 9-1 victory over the Traverse City Pit Spitters. Hordwedel earned his 20th career win, breaking a franchise record, throwing six innings with four strikeouts allowing eight hits, one run, and one walk. Hordwedel earned the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night award.
