The Madison Night Mares came out hot in the first inning scoring nine runs to shut out and mercy rule the La Crosse Steam 14-0. Addie Blomberg (South Dakota State University) went 3-for-4 scoring once with a two-run double, an RBI single, and one stolen base. Blomberg was named the Northwoods League Position Player of the Night finishing the game with one run scored and three RBI.
