Monday’s Northwoods League slate featured two solo matchups: Mankato Habaneros versus Minot Honeybees, and Madison Night Mares versus La Crosse Steam.

Minot 8, Mankato 7

The Minot Honeybees used a four-run fifth inning to take down the Mankato Habaneros 8-7. Sydney Farmer (Tyler Junior College) went 3-for-4 scoring twice with a double, one stolen base, and two RBI. Josie Buhr (Kansas Wesleyan University) went 1-for-1 with a double and two RBI. Skyler Dietz (Colorado Christian University) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with a pair of doubles and one RBI. Paige Zender (Iowa State University) went 2-for-3 scoring once with a solo home run and one stolen base. Sailor Hall (Minnesota State University, Mankato) went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and one stolen base. Brooke Holmes (St. Cloud State University) went 2-for-4 with a solo home run. Amity White (University of South Alabama) went 2-for-4 scoring once with a double, two RBI, and one stolen base. Jackie Albrecht (University of North Dakota) earned the win throwing four innings with one strikeout allowing five hits, four walks, and two runs.

Madison 11, La Crosse 3

The Madison Night Mares ran up the score on the La Crosse Steam 11-3. Carly Oliver (University of the Cumberlands) went 1-for-3 scoring twice with a double and two RBI. Addie Blomberg (South Dakota State University) went 4-for-5 scoring once with two RBI. Chloe Wamboldt (Rock Valley College) went 2-for-5 scoring once with a triple and one RBI. Tia Durst (Lake Land) went 1-for-2 scoring twice with two RBI. Ashley Wolfe (Oregon State University) went 1-for-3 with a double and one RBI. Rachel Mori (William Peace University) went 2-for-3 scoring once with a pair of doubles. Andrea Jaskowiak (University of Iowa) earned the win throwing five innings with four strikeouts allowing eight hits, three runs, and two walks.
