The Mankato Habaneros become the first Northwoods League Softball Champions. Sailor Hall (Minnesota State University, Mankato) went 1-for-4 in the first game scoring once with one RBI and one stolen base, and had a huge second game going 2-for-6 scoring four times with a solo home run and a double, collecting five RBI and one stolen base. Hall was named the Northwoods League Position Player of the Night finishing with five runs scored, two stolen bases, and six RBI.
