2024 La Crosse Softball Schedule Announced

Get ready for the inaugural season at Copeland Park & Events Center!

 

LA CROSSE, WI –  Opening day of the inaugural season of Northwoods League Softball is only six months away as the La Crosse Softball front office unveiled their historic first schedule. La Crosse Softball will host the inaugural Northwoods League Softball game as they host Madison on Saturday, June 15 at Copeland Park & Events Center.

Softball fans will enjoy 21 home contests at Copeland Park over the course of 16 dates spanning from the June 15 home opener through the season finale on Thursday, August 8. The schedule will feature 5 single-admission doubleheaders giving fans more opportunities to watch this historic season.

The Northwoods League has announced four teams for the 2024 groundbreaking season. Teams will be located in La Crosse, Madison, Mankato, MN, and Minot, ND.

La Crosse Softball is set to announce their team name on January 25th as part of the Winter Baseball BBQ. For more information on the event and to be the first to know the name, visit LaCrosseLoggers.com.

Leveraging the 30-year success of the Northwoods League, the first for-profit Summer Collegiate Baseball League, Northwoods League Softball (NWLS) will be the first for-profit Women’s Summer Collegiate Softball League beginning play in the Upper Midwest in the summer of 2024.  The purpose of the League will be to develop players for their college, Olympic and future professional play.  Teams will be promoted similar to minor league baseball teams, playing games in front of fans in a fun, friendly, family-oriented environment.
