Golden Bear On Deck To Join The Steam

Steam Welcome Another New Piece to the Puzzle in Bane

LA CROSSE, WIS. – Another new name is set to arrive at Copeland Park this summer as the La Crosse Steam continue shaping their 2026 roster with the addition of pitcher Kiki Bane, who will make her Northwoods League Softball debut in La Crosse.

Bane comes to La Crosse from the Golden Bears of Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, where she has continued to develop her game at the collegiate level. While still early in her career, Bane brings versatility, and valuable upside to a Steam roster focused on growth and competition throughout the summer season.

Originally from Pentwater, Michigan, Bane is expected to add depth to the rotation as she gains experience against top collegiate talent from around the country. Her addition gives the Steam another promising player eager to take the next step in her development this summer at Copeland Park.
