Steam Welcomes Back Outfielder for the 2026 Season
Larsen Returns for Another Summer in La Crosse
LA CROSSE, WIS. — The La Crosse Steam are excited to announce the return of junior outfielder Jackie Larsen, who will rejoin the club for the 2026 Northwoods League softball campaign.
A native of Bloomington, Minnesota, Larsen returns to La Crosse after a strong debut summer with the Steam in 2025. The Bemidji State standout led the team in triples (4) and stolen bases (16), tied for third on the roster in hits (38), while reaching base at a .392 clip.
Larsen also provided steady defense in the outfield, appearing in 39 games and recording a .976 fielding percentage. Her ability to contribute on both sides of the ball made her an important part of the Steam roster during the 2025 season.
Now entering her junior season at Bemidji State, Larsen looks to continue her development and build upon her success as she returns to the Steam in 2026.
The Steam opens the 2026 season on Wednesday, June 10, at Copeland Park, hosting the Wausau Ignite. Season tickets, group outings, and flex plans are on sale now. For ticket information, visit www.lacrossesteam.com or call the Steam ticket office at (608) 796-9553.
