Steam Adds First Newcomer of 2026

St Cloud State Alliance Continues with Corner Infielder

LA CROSSE, WIS.  – A new face arrives at Copeland Park this summer as the La Crosse Steam adds Annabelle Ross to the 2026 roster. The corner infielder will make her debut in both La Crosse and the Northwoods League, bringing fresh talent and energy to the Steam lineup.

Ross comes to the Steam following her freshman season at St Cloud State, where she has played in one game thus far in the early season, drawing a walk in her first collegiate plate appearance. A decorated high school athlete, Ross was an all conference infielder in 2025, and looks to build upon her success in her freshman season with the Huskies at St Cloud State.

A native of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, Ross looks to continue her development in the Northwoods League. She will look to make an immediate impact as she transitions to summer ball, and with an exciting mix of versatility and potential, she adds another exciting piece as the Steam continues building toward the upcoming season.

The Steam open the 2026 season on Wednesday, June 10, at Copeland Park against the Wausau Ignite. Season tickets, group outings, and flex plans are available now. Fans can purchase tickets at lacrossesteam.com or by calling the Steam ticket office at (608) 796-9553. The Steam front office, located at 1225 Caledonia Street in La Crosse, is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
