The Lakeshore Chinooks will take on the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters in a doubleheader on Friday, July 26, 2013 beginning with the first game at 4:05 pm at Kapco Park located on the campus of Concordia University. It is a Leinenkugel’s Fish Fry Friday and the gates will open at 3:00 pm. The first game will be the makeup of the game rained out on Sunday, July 21, 2013. The teams will play two seven inning contests per Northwoods League rules and the second game will either start at 7:05 pm or thirty-five minutes after the last out of the first game should the first game run past 6:30 pm.
Fans holding tickets to the July 21st game that was rained out can exchange that ticket for any remaining home game during the 2013 regular season subject to availability. Fans must present the July 21st ticket and can exchange them in one of three ways, at the Lakeshore Chinooks office located at 995 Badger Circle, Grafton, WI 53024 during the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, or you can send the July 21st tickets to the mailing address, PO Box 227, Grafton, WI 53024 or you can exchange them the day of a home game beginning at 3:00 pm at the Kapco Park Ticket Booth. Tickets are subject to availability.
As the Northwoods League breaks for the annual All-Star Game, the Lakeshore Chinooks currently lead the South Division in the second half with a 13-5 record. The winners of the first and second halves of the Northwoods League schedule qualify for the playoffs. The Chinooks overall season record is 34-18.
